To the west of the city centre, don't miss the Mosque which overlooks the Golden Mile, the area between Marbella and Puerto Banus. Puerto Banus is a marina and the landmark of Marbella where the yachts of the rich and famous, center of fashion where you will find high-end boutiques.
If you want a more traditional and fun way to see the area, you can take a horse-driven carriage ride around Marbella and then, walk along the pedestrian walk called Avenida del Mar and Marbella/s main boardwalk, el Paseo Maritimo, where you will be mesmerized by the many shops, kiosks and restaurants on the way, that will tempt you for a stop.
